Our story

It started with Weetabix

Freely Craft began as a lockdown hobby in 2020. The first brew was a wit beer made from grocery-store ingredients, oats and Weetabix included, following YouTube tutorials.

A lot of trial, plenty of error and a few proud successes later, it grew into a proper brewery. Now we brew a range of beers on site in Factoria, and pour them in our taproom with Sachy's kitchen and live music alongside.

Getting here

  • Safe, secure parking right outside the door.
  • The area is guarded at night, and in two years of late shows we haven't had a single incident.
  • Easy to find, just off Voortrekker Road in Factoria. Most of our crowd drives in, so you'll be in good company.
